Amy Hilliard's personal passion for sharing the message of Tap Into Your Juice flows from having energized her own endeavors through her Personal Power Sources.

An honors graduate of Howard University and Harvard Business School, Amy served as a buyer at Bloomingdales and a senior marketing executive at major corporations including Gillette, Pillsbury and L'Oreal and at Chicago's Burrell Communications Group. Amy has successfully launched multi-million dollar brands such as White Rain Shampoo.  In 1995, she founded her own marketing consultancy, The Hilliard Group, LLC.  The Hilliard Group has worked with clients such as IBM, American Express, HBO, Texaco, Chase Manhattan Bank, PepsiCo, Ford, Northwest Airlines, The Gap and Kraft Foods.

But her heart wanted, needed, something more something that eluded her for years. So in January 2001, Amy started from "scratch," continuing the legacy of her grandfather, an executive chef, by founding The ComfortCake Company LLC, makers of pound cake so good it feels like a hug. After its first client, United Airlines, ordered 500,000 slices, ComfortCake took off as a nationally known dessert brand. Two years later, the U.S. Department of Commerce named ComfortCake the 2003 Emerging Minority Enterprise of the Year.  Feel free to visit the company website, www.comfortcake.com.

A renowned marketing expert, Amy's work has been profiled in The Chicago Tribune, Crain's Chicago Business, The Wall Street Journal, Black Enterprise, Ad Age, Ebony, Business Week, Essence, Working Woman, and Entrepreneur Magazine among others. She has also appeared on the Home Shopping Network and on The Food Network's "Recipe for Success" show.

She shares her universally inspiring Tap Into Your Juice message and her marketing experiences as a popular, internationally known speaker for an array of audiences, and is currently writing a book that expands upon these themes.

Amy is also the proud mother of Angelica, who wrote the ComfortCake tag line, and Nicholas, the chief taste-tester since day one.
